I love where I live and have all the stunning opportunities and inspiration on my doorstep. This is what brought me to the Highlands. All of my images have been taken around Scotland and many around the Ardnamurchan Peninsula, North West Scotland where I have now settled.. A little bit about ME. I invested in my first DSLR in 2014 and was self-taught until I completed an HND Photography and am now in the process of a qualification LRPS with the RPS (Royal Photographic Society). I am presently working towards publishing my first book, this is a project on Trees. My Art and Photography have led me to this more creative journey. In my youth days I painted landscape scenes and brought this into my photography more than 10 years ago. My earlier photography tended towards Portraits and other genres although with a move to the Highlands my interest in landscape and nature escalated and find myself drawn to Intimate Landscapes and Nature with a more creative technique. I consider all my work as Art and not just photographs. Most of my work is based on projects around nature and am now working on a book to publish. This is on Trees. I find solace amongst nature, and it is healthy for the mind and soul. More images can be viewed on my website and will be updated regularly.
